By shaving kit - 31/12/2012 10:17

Today, my workplace was having a raffle and was giving away a Venus shaving kit. A co-worker won, but instead of keeping it, she walked over and handed the basket to me in front of everyone, said "You need it more" and walked away. FML

I didn't realize Sasquatches were such ingrates. I guess spending all that time in the woods kept you from learning to say "thank you" politely when given a gift.

Those things are expensive. I'd keep it :) even if the way she gave it to you was bitchy.

Agreed shaving razors are expensive. Especially high quality ones.

Your coworker is low, doing that to you in front of everybody. You should have said, "really? You're going to piss me off and then hand me razor blades? Bad choice, lady." I hate people whose self esteem hinges on how bad they can make another person feel. Also, she does realise shaving is a personal preference and not a necessity, right? I'm hair-free (aside from my head, of course) and even I understand that it's a choice. If the social norm was to be really hairy, nobody would want to be pressured into growing out hair so why should people be pushed into shaving? It's not even necessary for hygiene as long as you wash regularly and stuff.

Exactly! I never understood this idea that women have to shave their legs.. I mean I understand that it probably feels nicer - but men don't shave their legs so it is not "disgusting" or unhygienic! :/

Tell that twat her boyfriend doesn't seem to have a problem with you. >:]

Your coworker sounds really awful and passive aggressive. I would have sniped back. You can't let people treat you like that, especially in front of a lot of other people.

Jesus theres some rude people in this world

Psh, insult or not, I'd take it. Good razors are expensive.

Just tell them she was shaving the best for last.
