Today, while at work, I was asked if I wanted to leave early. I said no and let my coworker go instead. Two hours later, I was punched in the face by one of my patients, with absolutely no warning or provocation. FML

damn...........that totally sucks OP! something similar happened to me when I was 14, and i was walking home. This random kid just threw a crapload of powder at me and I couldn't see or anything for a few seconds, and a group of guys behind me laughed their asses off. though your situation is a lot more painful. FYL
