well at least you have a valid reason to file unemployment, just make sure to get a copy of your job description and be prepared to file an appeal since he will surely challenge your filing

OP, that sucks, but he isn't allowed to fire you for sales if you don't work in sales. You could get a lawyer and sue him to get your job back.

I'd sue for unlawful termination.. It won't get you your job back but it will teach him that you cant just fire someone for illogical reasons..
