If the person who runs the company you worked for fires you for something unrelated to your job, it's a blessing, because they obviously don't know anything about running the company, and it would have tanked anyway.
If the company's owner's son is that much of a dipshit, you're probably better off working somewhere else. The place is going to sink faster than the Titanic. But you should at least get it stated on your ROE that you were "laid off" and not "fired". It looks bad on your record, even if you weren't the one who did anything wrong. Lots of jobs in Public Relations. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise?
