Today, several of my apartment complex neighbors walked right by me as I struggled to clean the inches thick, icy snow off of my SUV. I’m 4’11. Not one person offered to assist me, even after I slipped and fell several times. FML

You sound entitled. Why didn't you just ask for help instead of expect people to run to your assistance. I'm 5'0 and a mother of 2. I get things done if I want them done and don't expect help and If I need help, I ask.

Why do you have an SUV if you’re too short to reach where you need to? Get a short broom to use to get the snow off.

So honestly I wish we still lived in a time where people are good neighbors and help each other out but we are not there anymore. I have attempted helping people out over last couple years and it never ends well I have been cursed at, ignored and given looks of disgust. I grew up in countryside where helping people was just what you did but between society changes and fact I live in the city I just usually don't ask anymore.

Closed mouths don't get fed. You didnt ask for help. I do not feel bad for you.

It is not their job to clean your vehicle.

Do people often offer to help in these sorts of situations? I mean, they're probably cold and in a rush themselves.

Move to Wyoming, we'll make you work when it's a blizzard out or -60°f.

Why do short people always expect tall people to do things for them

it's weird, when I need help, I ask for it. it might be different in your part of the world, where women aren't allowed to speak or drive cars, but then I wonder, why didn't your husband do the cleaning of his car himself? OH WAIT NOT YOU JUST EXPECT PEOPLE TO FALL OVER THEMSELVES TO HELP WHEN THEY SEE YOU STRUGGLE? Sorry love, you're the first one dead when the zombies come

Must have thought it was a circus sideshow.

Don’t expect people to help you with your own fancy car. If that’s the problem, you should’ve bought a smaller car.
