Today, someone stole my iPhone. I used the Find My iPhone app, and located it in the apartment building next to mine. I can hear the ringing sound I've activated, but nobody will answer the door. FML

And then they report you for impersonating a cop. Impersonating a cop/doctor is highly illegal. Not the best approach.... I'd say go with the Liam Neeson thing someone else suggested.

The app shows you gps coordinates of the exact location of your phone also displays an alert and gives you the option to wipe everything off your phone remotely in case you have personal/financial info on there. Ex credit card numbers auto login on your bank app etc
