Today, the drummer from my band stole the $200 deposit for our rental practice space and used it for a trip down to Maryland with his girlfriend. A few hours ago, my brother and I found him passed out in his cousin's house, very hungover. His first words to us were, "Can I borrow 20 bucks?" FML

Today, my band and I played at our first ever real gig. Our drummer turned up high out of his damn mind. After ruining our act with his godawful performance, he screamed "HELL YEAH!" then ran and dove off the stage into a nearly non-existent audience. We were told to never come back. FML

Today, my bandmates showed up to our gig drunk. Our drummer kept losing the rhythm and the lead guitarist was more concerned about staying drunk than playing the right notes. In the middle of a song, they both gave up, put down their instruments, and kept sipping a beer, while at least cheering me on while I finished it. FML

There are people in famous rock bands who have done worse. This story seems like a good one for retelling people in the future and one to look back on and laugh at. PS, first time I've been called a douchebag so cheers for that.

The awesome thing about this state is that there are actually two marylands: one ethnically diversified and more democrat, and one other with mostly white... Such diversity in only one state, it's like the north/south divide in UK. If you live in Maryland you probably get it.
