Today, the girl I've liked for over a year, broke up with me after just 2 weeks of dating, all because I'm a better pianist then her. I've been playing since I was 8. She's been playing for 6 months. FML

I think it's not much of a stretch to say that this was not the underlying reason. For example: you could have been an ass about it. Or she was unconvinced about the whole dating in the first place. Or anything that we don't know from this short story.

Dude, if she was petty enough to break up with you by comparing your accomplishments against hers, it's a good thing it happened so soon. Break up sucks but you probably dodged a massive bullet.
