Today, the guy I have been seeing left town to visit his family for three weeks. A few hours later, he called me from the airport to say he is never coming back. FML

She's been seeing him in general. He is leaving for "three weeks." On another note. I agree with the second part, it's not necessarily her fault he's not coming back.

I don't know about anyone else on here, but it's really annoying when people make comments and don't actually read the FML's correctly. Which then causes them to comment something stupid or ignorant. Ugh.... Just really annoys me.

You're all forgetting one important element to the story and that's HIS SIDE! Maybe he had good reason for doing it that way? I'm just saying... Their are two sides to every story and you have only been told one! maybe OP is a serious bitch? Or maybe she cheated?

I agree! I said something about his side, maybe there were some reasons, and people downvoted me like hell. *Snorts* the thing about FML is that everyone tries to make their story sound really sob-worthy, and there are few FMLs that actually happened exactly the way the story is told, or it's worded so that the people don't know that afterwards the OP's life wasn't so bad. Honestly, this situation is one of three ways-- 1. The guy has to leave due to some circumstances and the OP conveniently didn't mention this 2. OP was bitchy to him and he took the cowardly route out 3. He was an asshole and left her cowardly, warranting a true FHL. This'll probably get downvoted too, but I think you bring up a great point.
