Now I've read this FML several times, and I still don't have a clue about what you're trying to say

While not especially clearly written, I think that OP is saying that GF has a fear of abandonment because of her Dad dying. And there are plenty of things on FML that will make you sad if you are empathetic. OP tried to keep GF from absorbing that from FML. But now he misses FML because he is trying not to be a hypocrite in telling GF to stay off FML but accessing it himself… OP, you cannot “fix” your friends, relatives, or loved ones. You can support them, but you must allow an adult to ultimately make their own choices.

Why is it starting to feel like AI is attempting to learn how to FML and is failing at it horrendously? I've seen several of these complete gibberish posts in the last few months now.

Okay, I'll spill the shade, throw some tea: This FML is an unedited FML which was genuinely submitted as is, and usually I would've deleted it, but… look at the date it was posted.
