Today, after a long, horrible day at work and some fighting with my family and my girlfriend, I decided to cheer myself up by going to McDonald's for a change. I burst into tears when the cashier told me they couldn't make me a Mars McFlurry because they'd run out of ingredients. FML

Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman returned to the drive thru because her fries weren't hot enough. She was so angry about coming back that she threw her cold fries at me through the window and told me to "choke on them." FML

Today, when making a delivery for the restaurant I work for, a customer shoved and yelled at me because she didn't get any fries with her order. She didn't order any, which isn't unusual, considering we're a Chinese takeaway and don't even sell them. FML

Today, as the manager of a McDonald's, I had to ask a group of high school kids to calm down after several complaints from other guests. Their rational response was to pour soda on my head and throw burgers at me. Upon returning from chasing them out, I sprained my foot. FML

How is a McDonalds so unprepared that they are able to run out in the first place? Did someone forget to order some supplies or did a shipment not make it? Either way, FYL for having to repeat the same message over and over and take most of the complaints.

Too bad... McD's has yummy fries. I'm surprised you're still alive, OP. I went to a Taco Bell once that ran out of ground beef... so it could be worse, I guess.

****. Years ago when I worked at Swiss chalet we ran out of chicken because of a late shipment. Hungry, angry people are very quick to blame the first face they see which is the poor kid at the front taking the order/serving them. I feel for you OP.

I used to work for Sprint. When the iPhone 5 was released, my store only received 3 from Apple while the other 30 or so people on the preorder list had to wait even longer. They definitely weren't happy about that (I don't blame them), I got cussed out by some and even avoided a punch, all for an overrated-ass phone
