As a pilot myself, I can tell you that in a situation such as that, the pilot is legally allowed to restrain the violent passenger by any means necessary (within reason)
42, my dad is a pilot for commercial as well as a small airplane pilot and flight instructor. We own a small plane, and by small I mean four seats, including pilot and copilot, but you can fly without a copilot. So no, there's nobody on the plane but the pilot and whoever they want. The pilot's girlfriend could even had sit in copilot, as I've been doing since I was young, without actually being a copilot.
...why the hell was she allowed in there cockpit in the first place?
If the plane is small, the passenger seats may be directly behind the pilot and copilot seats.
Who reacts to cheating by beating on the cheating partner? Of course the fact that said cheating partner is flying the damn plane and she still beat him makes her that much scarier.
I thought the story gonna extend like they fight they got heat and they made out and thats how you guys are almost crashed.
THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN, MY DAD IS A PILOT AND NOBODY CAN GET IN OR OUT OF THE COCKPIT DURING FLIGHT
I would be blaming the pilot, not his girlfriend
and.... I think I know why he cheated on her. To not only respond with that much anger and physical violence, but to do so to the person FLYING THE PLANE. it's a suicidal level of anger. And as ****** as it is to cheat, how is physically assaulting someone okay? We wouldn't applaud this if it was a woman talking about being slapped around by a boyfriend who found out she cheated. Wouldn't surprise me to find out this wasn't the first time abuse has happened
A few months back there was an FML about someone's mom confessing - at her daughter's wedding - to her husband that she was cheating on him and the Dad slapping her, and the comment section was basically just people saying that the mom deserved to be slapped. So while I absolutely agree with you that assaulting someone is wrong and should not be applauded, I'm not sure everyone on this site is so against it.
Should've knocked her stupid ass out with one good back hand
screw terrorism, infidelity is the real danger threatening us all

That must've been scary as ****. I wouldve tied her down and told her to get her shit together until we landed!
Those smaller planes are iffy to begin with; I can't imagine the trauma of a distracted pilot on top of that.
