I WISH I lived that close to my shooting range. It's a 30 minute drive for me.
True, I live in the ghetto so hearing random gun shots is part of a normal day for me too. Stay safe!
You'll get used to it! I live by a fireworks store and they let off a lot to show people what they have. Thankfully our pets aren't bothered by them.
That really sucks, OP. Hopefully you'll get used to it quickly and be able to sleep through it. Also, hopefully night time usage isn't all that heavy. And thank you for your service.
OP, you're still a vital part of the team supporting the troops, so yes, thanking you and all of your civilian (paid) volunteer co-workers (of all job types) is still warranted and deeply appreciated!!! :-)
Look at the bright side, you live behind a firing range.
Noise cancelling headphones are going to be your best friend for a while.
Might not want to go that route incase of actual insurgent attack you do not want to sleep through that
Are there awesome lemon poppyseed muffins out there at least?
Funny thing is that this is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing, there's a firing range that opens 24/7 near you!! Bad thing, there's a firing range that opens 24/7 NEAR you.
Do they not ask residental permission/thoughts before doing stuff like this in the USA?
Many comments have pointed out that this is not in the USA.
"this time"
And from what I saw it said you were in the military. That's not gonna help you at all. Hope it doesn't bring back Abby bad memories

This FML was brought to you by ItnHmn's Shop of Earplugs, Headphones, and Sleeping Pills. The grand opening is any day now, probably.
Time to invest in some sound proofing OP
