Late night

Today, because my room was cold as ice, I couldn't sleep in there, so I went to my living room. It was at that moment that I realized just how bad my tinnitus is when I don't have my fan or any other form of constant noise to drown it out. I couldn't stop focusing on it, so I remained awake all night. FML

Just turn on the TV. That noise is less annoying than tinnitus.

Couldn't you have just moved the fan as well, or pointed it away from you in the bedroom? I'm very sorry for your circumstances, I had stress-induced tinnitus for a few weeks and I would've done anything to get rid of it then.

Try a white noise app on your phone, too. It seems to help when you can't get other ambient noise to drown out the ringing.

That's so racist! What would that even sound like? "Get off my lawn! My mom's casserole is the best. My 401(k) is doing nicely. Where's my Pottery Barn catalog?"
