Have you not read the previous comments before posting? Take into consideration that just maybe the mother didn't tell him that she was pregnant. It's not his fault if he was never informed of a pregnancy to begin with.

How did you not know you had a daughter? The birth of a child is usually a big event in one's life. Unless you had a one night stand and got the woman pregnant, and she only just contacted you today?
