Today, while at my boyfriend's house, I needed to use the bathroom. I decided to be a good girlfriend and leave the seat up for him. He later yelled at me for not putting the seat down because he needed to take a dump. FML

She had turned on the bathtub and was flushing the toilet. A lot. Later on, my boyfriend leaves the room and she says, “Did you make that mess in the toilet?” FML

I always put, not only the seat down but also the lid. You know, when you flush the toilet, all those nasty partials can circle around the air and land on things like your toothbrush and such. Yuck!

Still cannot get my head round the whole 'toilet seat up/down' issue in relationships. I live with a male who ALWAYS leaves it up. What's the big deal? It only takes one second to put down again! And girls seem to expect guys to not to leave it up when we leave it down all the time!

I agree. I've never understood this either. It takes just as long to put it up as it does to put it down, so who's to say guys have to put it down after they use it? Why can't girls put it up after using it?
