My mom met my little sister's dad (he was married as well) when she was still married to my birthdad. Two years after my birthdad died they got together. It doesn't mean they had an affair. Btw OP, why go to your ex's wedding and NOT expect to hear something like that? Trust me, I know it sucks seeing your ex with someone new but exes are exes for a reason. You have to stay out of their lives.
