Shit just got serious. But seriously now (lol), first of all, if you were working on essay notes, why were you also chatting with a friend? Second, why did you not save the important notes, especially if you were on a crappy laptop that could freeze at any moment? And third, just because the Fifty Shades of Grey characters were based on Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doesn't mean they'd be cast as the stars. Personally, I'm glad they aren't playing the parts because I can't get past seeing them as Bella and Edward. That being said, I plan to see the movie, but am one of the countless patrons who is vastly disappointed in the casting choice. Neither person looks like their respective character (Ana is NOT blonde, and that is a major part of the story) and some people are so mad that they're boycotting the series (or at least the movie) and demanding a recast (though I can not possibly imagine Matt Bomer as Christian; it should have been Ian Somerhalder if you ask me). But anyway, enough rambling. OP, YDI for not saving your essay notes, talking about a movie while working on said notes, and doing all this on a computer that you knew could die at any moment. That's never safe!
