I'm sorry but no matter how broke I was I would never EVER resort to forcefully taking money or property from anyone. What gives OP's boyfriend the right to take this woman's money or belongings that SHE had to work hard for? This is beyond excuses or reasons. I agree to some extent. Things with him should definitely end! I mean what if that had been your mother or sister he had done that to, or heck even you?? What he did is so wrong and you should completely report him! I hope you did. But maybe you should stay in touch with him? I mean he definitely does sound broken if he thinks what he did is okay and acceptable. That's so sad. I'm really sorry you had to go through this, let alone whiteness it. I hope things get better for you.

... why should she keep in touch with him? Yes, he is a broken individual and what he needs is professional help and discipline. Don't put this on the OP, because it's NOT her problem to try to fix him. He needs to face the consequences of his actions, and she should stay far, far away.

sooo you have a job and he doesn't? Hopefully it was a moment of weakness? I would definitely talk to him in a public place and see if it's something that he does regularly or was he just in desperate need of money. both reasons are wrong but one deserves him a new title of single. I say talk In a public place because if he's a regular Thief and you had no idea imagine what else he could be doing.
