That's mean... I like tattoos!
shame man
I hope you told that bitch off.
Maybe you shoulda wore A nicer jacket?
Like it or not there is a penality for tats and you have just started. Good luck with that
Ok the manager is being very judgemental and ignorant and that is completely unnacceptable. but in todays world and tough job market owners can be picky. i know many people who only get tattoos in places easily hidden. try that
The tattoos were hidden, that's what the jacket was for. OP could've easily hid them everyday with jackets and long sleeve shirts
Prejudice, plain and simple. Wether people want to admit it or not, it is.
The manager was perfectly justified in judging the OP by the choices she made. It would only be unfair if she were judging her for something that was out of her control, like her gender, race, etc.
Oh. My. God. I think there are maybe 2 commenters on this FML that get the point that the manager had NO IDEA the OP had tatoos. The manager made an assumption that the applicant used heroin, possibly because of her long sleeves, or possibly because of any number of other aspects of her appearence. For all intensive purposes, let's assume the OP wore long sleeves for another reason, such as a desire to appear professional, brisk weather, etc.; the OP would have still been accused of using heroin...::exhale::
Perfectly justified? Dude, she was being completely judgmental.
Having lots of tattoos will make it harder for you to get a job, plain as that. Surely you knew that before you got the tattoos, right? If not, YDI for not thinking about the consequences of your actions.

Stereotypical much? Wow, that would be a shitty manager to work for...
That is rude for her to assume you're a drug addict because of tattoos. Some tattooed people I know are the nicest and best workers ever.
