Today, while jailbreaking my dad's phone, I found out the hard way that it's jam-packed full of my mom's nudes. FML

That really sucks OP, but at least it was your mom-- your dad is probably still attracted to her, which is a good thing! Sorry you had to see that, though.

Jail breaking a phone doesn't require going to the pictures, nor launching any application he might have kept them in. Unless he had it as his background, you must have been snooping, so YDI.

I've never jailbroken a phone myself but I can't think of any reason the process itself would require you to look at pictures on the phone. However, if the OP isn't an idiot he'd probably back up the data to his computer and thanks to the magic of thumbnails, you could possibly stumble across something that way.

With the most recent jailbreak Pangu needs permission to access your photos

It's the right woman. Could have been worse. Better than another woman. Or man. That is under aged. Or Skeletor. **** Skeletor.

Not once would you have to into the photos library or any other app in order to jailbreak. You were sneaking through his photos, unnecessarily, so YDI.

Yeah, I'd be a little grossed out. But at least it was your mom and not someone else! I'd hope my future husband still found me attractive well into our marriage.

The good news is that it sounds like your parents' marriage seems pretty solid. Be happy for them.

So it's you dad's Phone he can put on that thing whatever he wants, you were just snooping around.

The hard way? 1. Weird pun/innuendo. 2. Was there an easy way to find out? FYL

Why were you jailbreaking, anyway? Apple has more than enough features to not need the hilariously buggy an shitty jailbreaking methods.

Well, he did only say phone, not iPhone.

Jailbreaking is a term applying only to Apple phones. For android, it's called rooting, or something like that.

Strange, I've heard both used about just any phone. Perhaps it's a language thing.

For Android it technically is called rooting. . But some people do interchange the two terms. I call it jail breaking when talking to tech illiterate people so they can grasp a basic understanding of what I'm talking about
