Today, while looking in the mirror at my full-blown grease-spewing acne-riddled face, my father came up behind me and said, "Don't worry son, I had acne like that when I was your age". I replied, "No you didn't", and his immediate response while laughing was, "No, I didn't." FML

Today, I was talking to my parents when all of a sudden my dad started freaking out and asking my mom how I got this really bad allergy on my face. My mom just laughed, and then I had to explain to him that it was just my acne. The worst part is that he was dead serious the whole time. FML

Today, I was with my boyfriend and I said that I was self-conscious of my acne. He told me that only one of my zits was noticeable and that it wasn't so bad. In fact he said it looked cool, like a bullet wound or something "awesome" like that. FML

Today, at Church, the little boy sitting behind me asked his mother if I had the chicken pox, because there were red dots all over my face. I've had bad acne since I was twelve. FML

Wash your face 2-3 times per day, drink ALOT of water, use moisturizer & sunscreen (only oil-free), and get some Astringent from the drugstore. It helps a whole lot, I have acne too.

Scrub your face with steel wool, it worked wonders for me! Seriously though, trying a medication that some people say worked wonders for them just based on that alone is probably not going to end well. Everyone reacts differently, this is why there are so many doctors, to help with such things.

Proactiv only works on some skin types, not all. Bleach is also used in their products, which does more harm to your skin than good. My sister used it, she stopped for a while and her pimples came back ten times worse. Better using something that cures it rather than a temporary fix.

Roaccutane. It takes three to four months to work, but trust me, after that three to four months, you will not have on pimple on your body! There are side effects however and it's prescription only. But it's worth it!
