Today, while on a road trip through Australia with my dad, we were both complaining that we had yet to see any kangaroos. Suddenly, we saw one up real close. The rental car saw it even closer. FML

Perhaps you should check your eyesight. Apparently you didn't see where you were driving either.

I got to see many kangaroos on my trip to Australia. I saw literally a herd of them bounding across a farm field. And then we found the dead one. Also, its illegal to hit kangaroos and koalas in australia. So double fml for you

It's not illegal to hit them, it's not good form and less so to hit a koala. Hundreds if not thousands of roos are killed by cars every night.

I remember something like this from kangaroo jack

Even though the drawing illustrates the kangaroo being splattered, I cant help but wonder if the kangaroo really died, or if perhaps it was simply injured. Which is it, OP?

My my what an adventure. Still bumping into a Kangaroo is better than Australia's other deadly pets

Final panel of the comic didn't need text imo

At least OP is okay! If I were you I wouldn't waste the body (if it died) and give/sell it to a taxidermist to put in a museum for education. What? Don't you wanna have more people learn about the Aussie wildlife? But yea, most likely he surived, if he did I hope you didn't leave the poor thing to die on the road. If it is safe you should always check for pouches with babies in them and see if they are still alive and send it to a vet for them to do the rest. If it was clearly in pain, I think a vet should decide if it should be euthanized or not, but likely there are not many vets in the Australian outback and put him out of his misery quickly.

Also I find it funny how the artist drew the car seats on the worng side, in Australua the drivers seat is on the right!
