Today, while working at a cell phone store, I helped an older woman learn how to use her newly updated phone. After trying to help her for over 20 minutes, she threatened to throw her phone at my head. FML

Well the phone should just fly right over your head shouldn't it? Just like the tech help you gave her seemed to.

Were you getting irate with her because she didn't know what to do?

Yes, because clearly the brand of phone you have dictates your emotional maturity and determines how you respond to being frustrated or angry.

Good. Now she has to pay to get it fixed. FYL, still.

Isn't it great down here in Georgia?! :)

I used to work at Best Buy. Sold an older woman a tablet; the whole time I was very patient with her, showing her how to work the demo unit even though she was very grumpy and kept saying everything we had in the store was "shit" and technology was "dumb." Anyway she came back the next day and yelled at me for selling her garbage that didn't work. I asked what was wrong and she said it wouldn't turn on. She proceeded to tap the black screen viciously...I pressed the power button. Tablet goes on, woman goes "....................oh" looks embarrassed and leaves. :p

Hey OP here. The funny thing is I read your comment a few days ago and the same type of thing happened to me yesterday. A lady asked why she was stuck in settings on her tablet. I pressed the home button and she looked embarrassed. Same thing on her phone.
