Today, working my job, I had to explain to a kid that Pokemon is owned by Nintendo and they don't make it for the Xbox. Upset by this, he took hold of my leg and started biting. I'm also suspended, because his mother complained when I kicked him off me. FML

This would have been de perfect opportunity for the HiV gag. After kicking the kid off, when the mother starts screaming say "your son just bit me, and I'm HiV positive, and walk away bleeding all over the floor

kids these days... you would think they knew this information

While getting bitten sucks, you should not have kicked him off. I work with violent children so I have bitten more times than I can count and I have never been violent back to a child.

Get off your damn high horse. How can you expect to be anything but thumbed down? You work with these kids , OP does not and therefore it isn't in their area of expertise how to deal with them. Nor should it need to be as this sort of situation should NOT happen because it's that mother's responsibility to mind the brat. If that's beyond her capabilities, maybe she should take the kid to wherever the **** YOU work, instead of a video game store

It's nice that ur trained to take that but average joe isn't and average joes reactions is " get this thing that's hurting me off"

What were you suppose to do? Kindly remove him from your leg? Hell no. I'd be kicking that little shit off me too.

That little kid must be trippin' balls... Pokeballs that is.

Pokemon is owned by Game Freak, not Nintendo. It irks me how many people don't know that. Still not a fun experience though, so FYL

Almost as bad as a Grammar Nazi, and at least they're teaching something worth knowing.

Actually, Game Freak is a game developer that works specifically for Nitendo. Therefore Nitendo owns Pokemon.

game freak is a 2nd party developer that is directly under nintendo, all of its properties belong to nintendo

This reminds me of an Staples worker that literally took a staple for her back by a child behind her.

I can totally imagine this. OP used Explanation! But it failed! Kid used Bite! It's super effective! OP used Low Kick!

I would have called the police for assault and battery. It would make the mother think, and maybe the brat of hers. Also, if it was in the store, the store has to hand over the videos if you have surveillance, or your boss can be in trouble with the law for withholding evidence.

Should of kicked the ****** in the mouth, it'd be a week before he could complain.

The child can't be charged unless he has a history of biting. But let's face it all kids bite, but I think that mother was embarrassed by her child's temper tantrum. But she handled it the wrong way. She should have apologized to op about his behaviour.

Kid can't be charged no but the mother can and having the police show up will scare the crap out of them both
