My wife will go out for a few hours and then ask “Did you miss me?” The best and most truthful answer I usually have is “I knew you would be back”… If you feel the need to constantly test your relationship, that’s not a sign of a healthy relationship. Though I understand some people are inherently more insecure than others. Even among happy couples, there are times when each will need some time to themselves. That’s not a sign of a relationship problem, that’s a sign of being human… OP, I think you need to chill a bit with the relationship “tests” - They are far more likely to lead to a split than to making the relationship stronger.
