That's you say, "yeah so you don't become as ignorant as your father".
yeh i think he was trying to motivate his son to be like you. hope u didnt say anything back
Hopefully he didn't mean that in a rude way. I don't want to see how things turn out if you get a call one day and it's from his house :P Just kidding, but it's great that you're a paramedic. It takes a hell lot of work and determination to get through all the training. I plan on becoming a paramedic :)
he might of meant like if you stay in school you could end up like you
that dude is just ignorant and stupid. or you heard him wrong.
He probably doesn't know exactly what you do. When I told people at my high school that I am an EMT-B, they asked me if I drove ambulances. Sometimes they would ask me if I worked at Eastern Mountain Sports. People are just ignorant, especially those that rely solely on medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy to get their information from. (I'm not picking on the show, I just think it's not entirely accurate.)
F that guy. I've always wanted to be a paramedic.
I didn't know jobs that require a high level of education were stress-free. Being a doctor or lawyer must be a breeze!

That sucks man. I always wanted to be a Paramedic when I was a kid. I think you guys do great work. **** this ignorant guy.
not really a FML... it just wasn't explained enough for the dad to know what you were talking about. we're all thankful for your hard work as a paramedic, though- thank you
