Part of med school is teaching people to use words like "fascinating" instead of "pitiful."
I feel you. Im in the same boat and also have weird diseases no one usually sees in their office. They parade residents in to see the medical curiosity (me) to show a real life example. However, if you find yourself being used like that, you may be helping a future patient so the doctor (no longer in training) doesnt mis-diagnose/mistreat the illness. Consider yourself lucky to educate the next gen of doctors then. Still, lots of medical issues at once sucks. My pill box is measures im a few square inches to hold my daily meds. 18 pills last i counted i take. Thats not counting pain meds/muscle relaxants! (Add 30 more throughout the day). So i feel ya
Get a room! Pretty smooth pick-up line, chief. ;)
I definitely feel that. I have a lot of health issues too. I’m 29 and have more health issues than my nearly 80-year-old coworker: hormone deficiencies, heart condition, circulation issues, fertility problems... yeah. I hope you can at least manage them. :)
