I agree with people saying that it really depends on the quality of the relationship and compatibility. My current bf is 29, I'm 19. A little unusual, but I can say that he's probably one of the best guys I've ever dated because of the maturity level, the way he respects me, how much fun we have, etc. The situation here is awkward with her mom, but please don't bash a simple age difference. Love is blind and besides, you don't know the particular circumstances.
