At first I thought you meant they kept going while you were passed out, surely you didn't mean you wanted them not to have the wedding at all ? I get being frustrated not to be there but come on, you can't expect them to throw away all the food, flowers, band and such because you can't make it. If it were a life threatening situation then sure but that ?

Wow what jerks
Did you expect them to cancel the wedding?! The show must go on!
How is this a FML? It wasn'tyourweedding and you seem to be trying to take some attention off the bride and groom
Well, that really blows, but the wedding isn't about you. If I received adequate care, I'd insist it went on

don't feel bad about them going on without you. there's a lot involved in one, if they stopped things, you're looking at waiting another year, and a few thousand dollars. Don't take it personally. feel better
Here comes the bride--there goes the bridesmaid!
