Ditto this. I dated a guy who would cheat on me and then constantly tell me he's trying to be better and change, surprise no, he's not, he's either still seeing the same girl or found a new girl. After him, I seriously toughened up in relationships and learned not to put up with BS. If I ever suspected a guy of cheating on me, I would leave and not look back and not even care. It's much better that way and easier for both parties (he doesn't have to put up with me being paranoid and clingy, and I don't have to keep myself in a bad relationship).

Actually, statistics claim that women cheat MORE often than men do (but not by a large margin). The difference is that men aren't as good at covering it up. Surveys have shown that women admit to it far more often, too (anonymously, I mean, to the surveyors -- not to the victim). But yes, men who cheat are despicable and give men a bad name. However, I rarely feel bad for women who date these scum because they chose them. I don't know about you, but I have many male friends, and I know each and every one of their temperaments and views on relationships. Yes, I do have friends who cheat, and they ALL have similar personality traits that pretty much broadcasts them as "Hey, I don't really care about this as a relationship. I'll ditch you for the upgrade as soon as it hits the market." Know what the best part is? They're always the guys who can get any girl. The girls choose these types. Now, let's flip it. I know many, many guys who have been cheated on. Being a teacher, I hear these stories on a weekly, if not daily, basis. It's never the douchebag fratboy/jock/player type who gets cheated on. They cheat. The nice guy, who isn't fulfilling the desired level of dangerous, almost always either gets overlooked by every girl they know or they inevitably get dumped/cheated on for being too nice. I've only ever met one couple that was comprised of two cheaters. Now THAT was interesting.
