ouch
hahaha I was thinking the same thing
At least she didn't "hop" around the issue.
a pool, in Alaska?
This.
I live in alaska. outdoor pools ecxist.
could've been a heated indoor pool too
YDI for having two legs.
lmfao
if it was her first warning (which it obviously was) then you shouldn't have been so harsh anyway, jackass.
Why are most lifeguards on such a power trip?
Lifeguards are not on a power trip. Lifeguards actually tell people not to run or mess around on a slippery pool deck because they don't want anyone to slip and hit their head. About a month ago, a little kid, 3 years old, slipped and hit his head on the pool deck where I work. We tried to perform CPR, but the boy died. It's a lot more serious than you think. Have some respect for lifeguards, because they are just trying to protect idiots like you who think it's funny to mess around at a pool.
YDI for being a bitch. Even if that girl had two legs she didn't deserve being yelled at like that. I mean, really? For hopping? Some people need to understand the reasons behind the rules because there is no reason for that one.
Seriously...? You see NO reason behind NOT hopping around a pool when you have two able legs? Like he said, she could have tripped or lost her footing and fallen into the pool. God forbid she hits her head and drowns and it's his responsibility. He was only trying to make sure she didn't get hurt, he didn't know she was disadvantaged in that way. Not only that, but it's not his job to explain the rules. It's to enforce them. It's not like he told her not to mess around the pool because he wanted to ruin her fun and make her miserable. Those sorts of rules are set in place for safety reasons.
