Today, my boyfriend said he felt like eating icing. So I baked him cupcakes, put icing on them and decorated them. When I handed them to him, he picked off the decoration, licked the icing and handed the cupcake back to me, saying, "I told you that's all I wanted." FML

Today, I meant to surprise my boyfriend by baking him a cake. When I took it out of the oven, I realized I had accidentally used salt instead of sugar. He tried to eat it anyway, and ended up spitting chunks of it out all over me. FML

While it was rude of him to react that way to such a thoughtful gesture, you probably didn't need to go quite so far with it as to make them fancy with decorations. Maybe next time make some simpler ones instead and put some icing in the centers so he'll be more inclined to actually eat them. ;)
