Even if you didn't remember the number off the top of your head, you could have always sung it. Your niece would have joined in and you could have been on MLIA instead of FML. By the way, I really hope that you don't teach kindergarten.

I think #7 MAY just be Captain Obvious in disguise. "Not all languages have the same number of letters in their alphabets." DUH

don't worry, you're not alone. I remember in kindergarden, my teacher thought there were 25 letters of the alphabet and the whole class argued against her. So she counted them. =D

I usually think there are 24 letters upon pondering that question. The number 24 is more common than the number 26 in everyday life. It's easy to forget consodering its not knowlege you acces every day. Yes I have a degree and a minor in english, it happens. But never argue with children, you'll never win.
