Are you sure?

Today, after a long therapy session, in which I poured out all my feelings of how happy and in love I am with whom I believe to be my soul-mate, my shrink asked me if I was sure this guy wasn't a figment of my imagination. FML

I don't know what he's talking about. Imaginary people are the best! They're always there with you, no matter what! I prefer to capture mine and use them for hard labor but whatever works for you I guess.

Is the shrink real? A good way to determine would be to check your wallet and see if large amounts of money have gone missing.

I'd take that as a compliment. If your shrink thinks your significant other is literally too good to be true, then I'd say you're lucky to have found him (your soulmate)!

If the ass hole was going to be like that I would have walked out.

is everything a figment of our imaginations? does anyone else ever think that this is all a dream? :'O

I don't understand how this is written. Can someone dumb it down for me? I imagine the shrink as a guy in his mid 50's, fat, balding, has a beard and with thick glasses on.

Should have said "yes I'm sure! Everyone knows Figment is a cute little lavender dragon with yellow horns!". Then waited for the reaction.

Makes me wonder how many would get the Disney reference.

Sounds like you've got Dr. Phil as a therapist...

What kind of woman goes to a psychiatrist and shells out huge wads of cash to tell him all about how HAPPY she is? Isn't that the definition of insanity? I would just head to your local bar. Your bartender will give you very similar advice...AND your favourite drink.

This definitely deserves a thumbs up. :)))
