I really can't understand this, your bag got stuck and you had to drop it but then you couldn't have gotten off? Like, were you leaving backwards? And also you should keep the bag on next time and just jolt when they have to open the door, because you're "stuck" Have fun dealing with that terrible person. Also the bag was holding your hand?
Your vag was still there?
That's awful. A couple people are actually saying this is like a thing in other places, where the driver would get in trouble for stopping. I don't want to live where you live, that's ridiculous. Our drivers would get in trouble for not stopping and making sure the person was okay and then letting them off if they were (or getting assistance if they weren't). Honestly I'd rather my bus be delayed for a couple minutes to make sure somebody was okay. Those doors can injure people, I know somebody who got their hand caught and ended up with broken fingers. Sorry OP, that sucks. I hope you're okay, though I assume since this doesn't include anything about injuries you are.
oh my god what an ass, your bag and its contents could have very easily been stolen in that amount of time!
What a prick!?

What an ass.
Most bus drivers do this, it's a really stupid rule. FYL, it was probably cold out.
