Was he actively searching for it for 2 years and 5 months, or did he just not know what it was for the length of time you've been dating? This clarification could mean the difference between a truly horrifying FML or a really mundane one. It's not unusual for young men to not have a full grasp on female anatomy until they are with someone they are comfortable enough to admit that ignorance to, and unfortunately a few of them aren't interested in ever learning.
