I know how you feel. All the kids where I live love to just stand in place and bounce a basketball for hours and hours. It's enough to drive you insane. You could always call and complain again so you don't lose your sanity. Good luck OP!

Why?
Most place have noise laws, including apartment complexes. Usually, during the week, it's between the hours off 10pm to 7am and, during the weekend, it's 11pm - 8am, where you have to keep noises levels low and respectable. Alert your landlord/complex manager to this issue is completely understandable.
I feel you my upstairs neighbor walks around at all hours like big foot stomping on my ceiling. I would go out and ask the girls if they can play somewhere else. You can always fake a migraine if needed. My last place faced the courtyard where the kids play and I do loved when it rained and they stayed inside. Try seeing if they can noose proof the windows and doors better. Also hanging up curtains helped put a dent in some of the outside noise for me. Good luck OP.

How is the complaint about the upstairs neighbors and the girls playing basketball related? I don't see the connection.
Did you come from Imgur?
It reminded me of that too!
Are they real or is this an auditory hallucination? Is this The Shining? Red-rum!
close your windows and grow up, if you can't live with the noise move you selfish bastard
There's only so much noise a person can handle before it becomes an annoying problem. No one should have to deal with neighbours being noisy past MIDNIGHT or listening to kids play basketball indoors. If you feel the need to tell OP to grow up and deal with UNNECESSARY noise, then there's something wrong with you. Please, grow up and keep your stupid comments to yourself.
*Shouldn't have to listen to kids throwing a ball at the building over and over again. Not indoors.*
*Correcting myself: Shouldn't have to listen to kids throwing a ball at your building over and over again. How would you like it if kids kept throwing a ball at the side of your house all day long? Would you just "shut the window?" and "deal with it?" I don't think so. Grow up.
