runaway groom
I hope you didn't post this right after you woke up while your wife and family were all waiting for you!
Honestly he probably didn't even submit this on the same day.
Its always best to put on several alarm clocks too! I hope everyone understands, and you manage to rearrange a new date. I hope your brother didn't do it on purpose !
I struggle to understand how his brother would have forgotten, since he probably went to the wedding. Unless he forgot about the wedding altogether? I imagine he would have explained once people started making assumptions.
Exactly. You'd think that as soon as the wedding was going to start and people were wondering where OP went his brother would remember he was napping.
My best guess is that the brother was busy helping out with the wedding/getting ready himself and just lost track of time.
Screw the others, it's more important that your wife knows that you didn't run away. Sleeping through your wedding is bad but it wasn't your fault. If she loves you she will hopefully forgive you :) good luck op.
Please explain how it isn't his fault.
There are those amazing, caffeine based migraine pills that work miracles. The generic brand isn't all that expensive either. I would have gone with one of those and a cup of coffee before a nap. I wouldn't trust my brother :). Or an alarm for that matter. Once I nap I'm out cold for hours.
Make sure your in-laws know that your brother is mentally challenged and that the blame rests entirely with him. Well, that or the truth.
God, didn't it cross your mind that it's a little risky to give that responsibility to only one person? It's your ******* wedding, man, that's not the time to take risks.
Sorry buddy but if you're old enough to be getting married you're old enough to make sure this doesn't happen.. Alarm, painkillers, so on...
