You can only learn from your mistakes...
Everyone should be arrested at least once. It's an informative experience; a little humbling and not as bad as most people think. And you usually meet some interesting people in jail. OP, good on your friend. Just make sure to read some "know your rights" literature ahead of time (the ACLU or Midnight Special law collective puts out some good literature on this).
Decent people are the ones who would have to plan getting arrested.
Civil disobedience, anybody? I wouldn't classify Henry David Thoreau, Mahatma Gandhi, or Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as "stupid" or "not decent people". They and their followers broke the laws they were protesting against and were willing to get arrested and go to jail for it. That said, OP's friend probably got arrested for doing something that was stupid and/or a public nuisance. Very few people are that high-minded these days.
It's also possible to be stupid, get in trouble, and then learn from it and become a decent person.
Trash. I bet she says yolo a lot
Maybe she's old school and says, "Carpe Diem" or "Live fast, die young" or "Que sera sera" or "Whatever I do what I want."

Having a reckless friend can be exhausting, it's like having to take care of a child, except you can't discipline them.
You shouldn't have bailed her out!
