you should prob save the pronouns for after you get hired. unfort the people doing the hiring are still often closed minded jerks who don't like anyone different from them.
Some jobs are just not a fit - OP, that might have saved you future problems… I do agree that it’s not wise to go into personal issues during the interview unless specifically asked so that you can focus on job and skill related issues.
everyone saying you deserve it is a bigoted asshole. check and see if you have any protections in your area and report him to his boss if you can. not everyone is going to be against you

sorry but they/them is horrible Grammer. it means more then 1 so calling yourself them them is a horrible grammerical mistake. use he/she or go by just your actual name at work to keep it professional and that you can structure a real sentence without errors. try they/THEM IN ENGLISH CLASS AND YOUR TEACHER WOULD TELL YOU YOUR USING THE WORDS WRONG.
Unless you are going for a job where LGTBQ+ cred will be an advantage, just go with what people see (male or female) until you get the job and get past any probationary period. Once you are well-situated, then spring your gender identity stuff on them.
these pronouns are used to talk about you, rather than TO you. encourage clear communication and have them call you by name
Yes. That doesn't get said enough.
Drewbreezy They/Them is also applicable to a single person. Person 1“ I have a friend who loves horror movies” Person2 “ what other movies do THEY enjoy. Person 2 doesn’t know the friends name. How would person 2 indicate to person one, that they’re asking about the friend ? PRONOUNS ARE USED EVERYDAY. You used some in your comment. Did ppl skip English or something ? Or y’all never went to school
I'm shocked that so many people pressed the YDI button. How can someone possibly think that it's okay to disqualify someone just based on their pronouns?
I'd bet that they weren't rejected because of pronouns, but rather for a general "high maintenance" attitude that they conveyed in the 15 minutes.
Here's the thing about pronouns: People seldom use third-person pronouns to your face... it's straight up rude to talk about someone in the third person when that person is present. So the only time those pronouns are going to get used is when other people are talking. Who are you to control that conversation? I don't have time for people who open with their pronouns. It presumes I'm going to talk about them at all, and presumes to intrude on that. It's like when people open up with their veganism.
