And there will come a time in your life when you realize that sometimes people enjoy a certain look for themselves, not for other people, and they will go about pursuing that look to make themselves happy. Your logic tells me that I should stop showering because my personality and body trump my smell. OP, that really sucks - This is one of few FML's on here recently that I can really say that situationally [which is what this website is about] your life sucks right now. I can't imagine the pain.

I agree also if you go to a job interview that would much rather see your hair straightened then in a ratty mess presentation is important. Plus if your like me and just trying brushing your hair and going you get a lot of poof. Some hair requires more maintenance than others.
