If it does turn out to be the zombie apocalypse, I'm tripping anyone who was excited for it, and said they couldn't wait. Be careful what you wish for.
He has a good point, at least Canada is safe for now, our Mounties will save us
Maybe you should agree to go along if he can show you a chart of rates of cannibalism-related crimes generated by an unbiased third party (ie: Not just him cherry-picking a bunch of recent crimes, a smaller number of less recent ones, an even smaller number of even less recent ones, etc.) You can't just point at a group of something and extrapolate that to "It's on the rise!" The human brain is incredibly badly equipped for wide-scale statistical analysis like that. If 99% of all gumballs are blue, but the only gumball machine someone knows of has 80% red gumballs, they will assume that the majority of gumballs are red. It's the same way that a single crime in a low-crime area will set everyone on edge even though their odds of being victimized are unchanged. Without the benefit of objective analysis, humans just kind of suck at parsing data. This seems to be something a dismaying number of people on this very comment page seem to be struggling with.
I really like how it takes one or two "zombie" jokes on the internet to get the news media to follow a hot word trend that in turn causes every other jackass to believe multiple isolated incidents spread over a few years are a sign of impending doom. People have been eating each other for how many centuries now...?
It's the Canadian "Cannibal".
Maybe he'll get a tv show too.

Miami zombie is real
Because the cops shot the guy FIVE times before he went down, I'm guessing one of them was in the head.. Have you heard about the mother eating her baby, the dude eating his roommate, and there have been a few other ones out there too. I don't believe this is a "zombie pandemic" but some freaky shit is going on.
