Having been pregnant more than once, I can understand being grouchy and hungry... but surely having a guy who brings roses makes everything a little better? If this is the first time she's responded like that, put it down to hormones. If it's a regular thing, take it with a pinch of salt because sometimes inner-baby-wielding women use the hormones as an opportunity to be as grumbly as they like without backlash!! Failing that, hide chicken wings in her roses next time. Thread them onto the stems, like a romantic kebab.
