both grosss END OF STORY
The person who pointed it out probably didn't think of it as embarassing, but as an interesting part of being alive.
Wow... I didn't know they leak. And reading all these comments makes it seem like this is common knowledge-- I had no idea what breast pads are.
Don't you people dare click YDI because "everyone" knows that boobs leak! This is her first baby, and first day back at work, so up till this point she's probably been breastfeeding regularly and so didn't have leaky boobs. OP... that sucks, and is embarrassing, so I agree FYL. But, I bet everyone there was sympathetic and didn't hold it against you. Unless they're shallow douches or something, but **** those guys anyways!
You know... there are pads to put in your bra, OP, to specifically AVOID breast milk leaking onto your clothes. There are disposable ones, and also reuseable (machine washable) ones. Very good investment: keeps your clothes clean, and saves you embarrassment.
I dunno, I used breast pads and sometimes leaked through them (I even used the expensive ones that have gel in them - the same stuff they use in pads - and they leaked).

That's not your fault. At least you presented well.
That's pretty embarrassing, even though it's not your fault.
