I think your dad missed growing up somewhere.

Well, your dad needs to work out then bully your gf’s dad for his lunch money, problem solved
Trauma like this, can cause ptsd, anxiety, depression and they can all last for the persons whole life. These people saying the dad need to grow a pare have no idea what this guy went through and how much it must of effected him. Just remember a bit of empathy and kindness goes a long way.
