Today, my now ex-boyfriend called me over for an "important chat". This chat consisted of him not only insisting that we have sex whenever he feels like it, but demanding that I take birth control pills, because making him wear a condom is "sexist and degrading." FML

Today, I woke up to my boyfriend throwing my birth control box at me and shouting that I was a slut for cheating on him since we never had sex. I attempted to explain the birth control was for a condition I have that causes my period to be non-existent. He didn't believe me. FML

According to him it's the man’s responsibility to provide the protection, and the fact that I have my own means I must have been very promiscuous if I needed to have them on hand. Just because they aren't supposed to hurt doesn't mean that they won't. If you aren't lubricated enough then the extra friction will hurt. That's true without a condom but my personal experience is worse with condoms.

To the commenters who say that OP's ex has a point about 'asking the male partner to sacrifice pleasure so the female partner can be lazy and not take a pill': 1. BC reduces libido in many women, which would cause an equal and opposite inhibition of pleasure, quite possibly one that exceeds the inhibition caused by condoms. 2. BC costs more than condoms, esp. if you don't have or can't afford insurance. 3. BC is a drug and can have significant side effects. It must also be used every day, while a condom is used only when it's needed, outside the body, not inside.

I don't think he really thinks that, I just think he doesn't want to wear a condom. Because any guy who doesn't feel the need to wear a condom during sex win a girl is too stupid to have sex with. Either that or he's a misogynist. Either way, I would block him but first charge the bastard for sexual harassment.
