Estranged

By assdialed. - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I got a phone call from my dad, who I haven't heard from in months. I didn't answer, but he did leave me an accidental voicemail, saying, "Oh shit, I didn't mean to call her." FML

Couldn't seem to let this pass Without agreeing your dad is an ass!

For those who this does actually happen to and its not fake....call back and say "Oh shit I didn't want you as my father". Hehe. Then they'll know how it feels to be disrespected.

Arkansas, huh? I'll bet your dad stopped calling because he caught you cheating on him with your brother.

Oh wtfever. How is misdialing someone an FML?

The FML is kind of old and overdone, but your name saved it OP. It made me laugh for some reason.

i'm going to guess perhaps the reason he doesn't call you more often is because you refer to him as "it", or did i read it wrong?

Good to know where you stand. Now you won't lose any sleep wondering.

ignore all the jerks who don't realize that some people's dads don't care and there's nothing those people can do one way or another. on a positive note, now you know he hasn't deleted you from his contact list. so maybe there's still hope. definitely FYL tho.

Who cares. Unless your dad has millions of dollars, WHO CARES! Just live your life. Become a millionaire, then one day, take a fat stack of 100s, then go to ur dad and say "here dad, this is for all the love u've shown me" Then light a match, turn around, and then fart-blow torch that stack of 100s rigt in front of his face and throw that shit in his face while u burst out in uncontrolable, evil, menacing laughter and say "take that bitch! That'll show u to ass dial me!!!"

Maybe it has something to do with you referring to your dad as "it"...
