(I'm 19, now, just so you people don't think I'm super old or some stupid shit like that...) Just because you stick it in before you're married doesn't mean you're any less of a Christian. Grow the **** up, it's not the medival era anymore people. Waiting til marraige is over-rated. As long as you're in love with that person at that time, and they love you back, I really don't see a problem with it. Neither does the rest of my CHRISTIAN family. I'm also a Christian and I made that same choice, but I would like to point out to people that alot of people make that choice and it doesn't always have to do with their religious beliefs. That's a messed up reaction from your mom though, the same kind of thing happened to me. My dad was talking to me about moving in with his fiance because he wouldn't marry someone until he lived with them for a while to see if that could make it or break it for him then I said that I wasn't going to move in with someone until after I was married. And just to spell it out for him I clearly stated that I plan to stay a virgin until I'm married. Being his daughter you'd think that's something every dad would want to hear. Then he said that's a good choice but I should to take the horse for a test ride before I buy it. WTF! kind of parent says that!!! Right! Anyways I get it. okay... do you HAVE to be christian to wait until your married to have sex. im 15, grew up in an agnostic house where i was told i could believe in any religion i chose. i was also told i could have sex when i truly loved that person and was ready. well i decided to wait until marriage, though i am not christian(athiest), and i am not being forced to wait. i just think it's better to be committed to that person in every way before you act physically. way to go. stick to your morals.
