so just tell them it's actually your coworker that has the baby? If he could hear them ask you that he'll be able to hear you respond
So why didn't you just explain that it wasn't you if front of your crush?
Next time you see him- ask him if he has any babies. When he says no, reply "nah, me neither". That should clear things up.
You should wear a name tag or convince the restaurant to have you wear them so that they know your names.
